Vbulletin is more powerfull, more lite and more customisable ^^, juste take a time and just have fun with the new Vbulletin, it's more easy to manage and have a nice dashboard :D

I think it will be easy. I have used vBulletin 3.x series between 2007-2010. Then last year I have come back with vb 4.x and 5.x. It took a day to get used to it. But vB 5 is a little bit much different than the other versions. Especially I slog about addons and themes. I can't find anything for vB 5 :(

Well mate everything is still easy to configure and all. vBulletin 4 is still the dominate series going on within the vBulletin family followed by the newly developed vBulletin 5 connect. I personally still work with the 4 because it still has a lot of mods / addons I can use, template customization that can be done. But really it's whatever you are trying to do will make you decided which generation you wanna use.

Well only because that vBulletin 5 really still is new and people still have some issues about it as well.

I asked same question another topic, I can't see yours. And I have same problem as you. I think vB4 is best at this time.

Well in particular, I think vbulletin 4 is better because there is more addon than in vb5, there is more variety of themes. It is a question of trying both and choosing a
