how to get links to work appropriately for privacy policy and terms of service?

    Hi:

After doing a bit of testing with the latest version of my public releases of vBulletin it seems as if the custom version of the registration rules which contain links that are supposed to work with the Terms of service URL and Privacy Statement URL options are not working correctly.

the code as it's rendered on one of my customer sites is as follows:

    Code:
Only registered members can view code.
the contents of the phrases that make up that terms of service statement are as follows:

    Phrase Name: forum_rules_description
    Contents:
    Code:
Only registered members can view code.

when I click on the appropriate links while testing the resultant URL looks like the following:

    Code:
Only registered members can view code.
    for the privacy policy and

    Code:
Only registered members can view code.
for the terms of service URL. The idea is to get the exact same effect as the Privacy Statement and Terms of service links when a user specifies an external URL in vb Options. Any ideas as to why this is not working and how to fix it, please let me know. I did just copy the link code from the footer template and put it where it needs to be.

It appears that you cannot use vb:raw in the phrases. You should just use the actual link: info.php?do=privacy
