    Upgrade vBulletin

    I have a forum in vbulletin 4.x if I migrate to 5.x will it give problem?

    No, there will be no problems upgrading. Please make a backup of you files and database in case anything does happen.

    It is always good to upgrade, you can implement new functions and have more security than the old ones.

    also if you use php 5.6 its end-of-life end this year.
    And vb4 is little unstable with php 7.0 & 7.1 so we decided to upgrade to VB5 with php 7.2 in the future vb want to give support on php 7.3 so i cant wait.
    And its faster then vb4 in my experience now.

    Its better to make a move to XF i think. vB support is crap...
