    Problem with change nickname and profile display

    Hi guys, I had two accounts [vBulletin 4.2.2]:
    • ACCOUNT1
    • ACCOUNT2

    I deleted account1 and I changed the nickname of account2 with the nickname account1!

    So now account2 -> account1

    But i have a problem, now if I try to go to the account2 profile (which is now called as account1), it tells me that there is no profile. "Specified user not valid"

    How i can fix this error? How can I display the profile?

    You may need to update the counters in admincp -> maintenance or rebuild the datastore

    I did as you said, but nothing has changed!
    I did both:
    Repair / Optimize Tables
    Update counters

    There should be no issue as the id number for account 2 is not linked to account 1. I've changed account names before and never has an issue. How did you change the name? Using the admincp option?

    Did you delete the account using dmincp > User > delete?

    What are the names of the 2 accounts? Profile 2 no longer exists so you need to visit the profile of account 1
