    mail server error

    hi
    after update vbulletin 4.2.3 to 4.2.5 an php 5.6.40 by OS vendor user don't receive emails from forum
    any help?

    Have you used the diagnostic tool in the admincp to see if there are any issues?

    Are you using sendmail or SMTP method?
    sendmail => please check the php error log file
    SMTP => verify the login details and ask your hosting provider if they enabled the ports (i. e. 1&1 has the SMTP ports closed on the shared hosting products)

    You should check your server's error_log file for more information. It should have some errors that not sending emails.
